Many grandparents are forgotten. Did you know that 60 percent of nurisng home residents never have a visitor? The first Sunday after Labor Day is National Grandparents Day. Celebrate by being grateful for your grandchildren and providing compassion and caring to America’s forgotten, frail elderly…whether homebound or in convalescent-type care. As we are enter our golden years, we know how special a phone call or a visit can be. You can be a friend or advocate to someone who needs your compassion on this and other memorable days!!
