HELPFUL A/C HINTS As summer days become longer, we tend to seek relief from the heat in our air-conditiioned apartment. Here are some tips to keep your place cool and your electric bill down. 1) Use fans. Good circulation, whether from ceiling or standing fans, lowers the temperature of the room and distributes cool air. 2) Keep your thermostat constant. Turning the thermostat up and down uses more electricity than keeping your apartment at a constant temperature. 3) Wear less and save more. Rather than sleeping with a comforter, use a shoeet and set the thermostat a little higher. You’ll stay comfortable and so will your wallet.
